On Tuesday 17 November, the Intergroup on LGBTI rights will host a conference on LGBTI Rights in the Western Balkans and Turkey.
The meeting will see the launch of the LGBTI Equal Rights Association, a new LGBTI organisation covering all accession states. The meeting will also see the presentation of the most comprehensive regional study on the public perception of LGBTI people in the Western Balkans and offer parliamentarians, policy makers and activists the possibility to discuss how to work together towards full acceptance of LGBTI people.
Speakers will include Dragana Todorović, Lawrence Meredith from the European Commission, MEPs active on the Western Balkans and Turkey, Lilit Poghosyan from ILGA Europe, and many more.
The meeting will take place in Brussels, and is open to the public. Please register before Monday 16 November by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your full name, date of birth, passport/id-number, nationality and place of residence.
